I would describe this professional quality Trombone as "very good used condition".

The Lacquer is generally very good with only minimal loss in the "holding areas".Inside the Bell there are scratches where mutes have been inserted and a few very minor dents have been removed from the Flare.All this is superficial and to be expected from an instrument of this age and has no effect on its excellent playing qualities whatsoever.

The slide is also excellent although there is minor plating loss to the inside slides.

All these imperfections are reflected in the very reasonable price.

Comes in very good original case with a well used Denis Wick mouthpiece.

Highly recommended for someone looking for a quality Trombone without breaking the Bank.

These 1000 series Trumpets are well built and offer excellent value for money for the Student to Intermediate players and beyond.

I bought this instrument with a second vavlve cap that couldn't be done up after it had been "fixed by Dad".It has now been fixed by me and works almost as good as new.It would appear that Dad thought the answer was to file a bit off the thread.In actual fact all that was needed was a 10 minute job for someone who new what they were doing.I can't replace the bit of thread that has been removed , but the cap now works well on the remaining thread and it has no effect on the playing standard of the instrument which is basically in excellent condition.

This is an excellent Trumpet for the advancing student which retails for around £800. You would normally expect to pay around £500 secondhand for this model in this condition, but because of the original amateur repair I am selling it for £275.

Complete with original Besson case and mouthpiece.

A few very minor marks which have occured through normal useage , but the silver is intact, everything works as it should and it plays beautifully. Fully serviced and ready to play.

Comes with mouthpiece and a very nice soft case.

This is a large bore instrument with a 30 inch bell and produces the superb tone that you would expect from all Martin instruments.

It is without doubt an instrument for the serious player.
